For as long as I can remember, I have loved beading. When I first moved to my new home in Iowa a little over a year ago, I started making necklaces, bracelets, headbands and rings out of whatever I could find and afford just to pass the time.
Just recently, though, my Aunt and Uncle, with whom I live with, have been talking about going to craft shows and selling some of the stuff we make at home, as we are all quite talented at various forms of art. I am now working on making some jewellery to sell, and have decided to show you what I have come up with so far. Also, there will be some of my older works in this article.
Pure Allure Designer Swarvoski Crystal Choker:
This was originally made to be sold, but I fell in love with it, so I plan on keeping this piece. It is, in my opinion, one of my best creations yet.
I found the metal castings at a local thrift shop, but the original shop price on them was $6.99. I paid .25. The blue glass beads came from Walmart.
Lucky Rainbow Dragonfly Necklace:
With colourful, randomized glass beads and a dazzling dragonfly at it?s center, this necklace is sure to bring it?s wearer luck!
This is the first necklace I made when the craft show idea was being discussed, so I plan on selling it. Everything that was used to make this necklace can be found at Walmart.
Tear Drop Necklace:
The Tear Drop necklace is one of my most recent creations for the craft show, and I hope to have a matching bracelet to be sold with it soon. All materials can be found at Walmart.
Primitive Ankh Necklace:
The ankh necklace was one of the first things I made when I moved to Iowa. I found the gold ankh and leather lanyard in my Aunt?s craft box, and she let me use them.
I hope you enjoyed this article. Thanks for reading!
